Sticking to your renovation budget

When the excitement of renovating your home begins, it is easy to allow your ideas to run wild.

At Bespoke Home Building we want nothing more than for you to have the home of your dreams but WITHIN your budget.

Be realistic

If you are planning to undertake structural renovations, such as moving walls, extending or adding another storey, make sure your expectations align with what you can afford.

Look ahead

Your budget will be effected by your future intentions. Are you renovating to sell? Or extending to improve comfort and lifestyle purposes? If it is your forever home, you can aim for a more upmarket job and potentially have a little more freedom with your budget.

Monitor costs

It is important to a keep a record of purchases throughout the project. It's also easier for your budget, if you have selected features and fittings before the project begins.

Prioritise

There can be unforeseen circumstances that arise when renovating. Having a 10% buffer for unforeseen site costs is wise, though we will certainly focus on minimising any additional costs during your build.

It is also important to talk to your builder regarding your budget. At Bespoke Home Building we understand that each home is different and each one will require a different budget.. We will work with you and your budget to ensure you get the best result.
